Another concert band season is almost gone. It has flown by so quickly! Our concert was ten days ago and we have our last competition coming up on Friday. We will be performing two pieces. They are Sparks by Brian Balmages and Trail of Tears by James Barnes, I believe. These are just the two that we will be playing on Friday. In addition, we learned two other songs for the concert. They are called An Almighty Fortress (I cannot remember who wrote it) and Gallant Marines by Carl L. King.
I personally feel ready for competition. I enjoy these two songs immensely and am excited to play them. I definitely think that we are going to do well.
